On a gorgeous almost-summer day, over 115 golfers hit the greens at The Oaks Golf Links in Somersworth, NH, all ready to take a swing at changing the lives of families experiencing homelessness.
On June 13, the Fifth Annual Swing for Seacoast Charity Golf Tournament brought together golfers from all across the Greater Seacoast region in support of the work of Exeter-based Seacoast Family Promise, which provides shelter and support for families with children who are experiencing homelessness.
The Tournament represents one of Seacoast Family Promise’s biggest fundraising events of the year. RiverWoods was the underwriter for the event.
“We are so grateful to our golfers and to our sponsors who came out in support of our mission,” said Pati Frew-Waters, Executive Director of Seacoast Family Promise. “Their enthusiasm and generosity contributed directly to helping local families experiencing homelessness get back on their feet and start the journey to a bright, stable future.”
